Thomas Binsl

Since July 2010 I am working as Senior Bioinformatician and Business Developer at Crosslinks B.V., a Bioinformatics company located in Rotterdam. One of my duties within Crosslinks is the translation of novel biological and medical knowledge into new technologies such as analysis software for patient diagnosis and clinical decision support systems. Further, I am heavily involved in project planning and project management and give scientific advice for the development of customer oriented Bioinformatics solutions. Strategic planning in terms of technology, partnerships and product development, which involves the exploration of new markets in the field of Bioinformatics is also one of my responsibilities. In addition, I am also responsible for the marketing and sales of academic Spotfire licenses. Spotfire is an analysis software produced by TIBCO. Finally, I also represent Croslinks in European research consortia and at international conferences.
