General Information
I am a PhD Student in the Computer Systems Group at the VU University Amsterdam. My research interests include high-performance distributed computing on large collections of multi and many-core processors in clusters, grids and/or clouds - with the main focus on developing high-level programming models for such platforms.User Transparent Parallel Multimedia Computing on GPU-Clusters
There is a clear need for high performance computing in the field of multimedia content analysis.As it is unrealistic to expect multimedia researchers to become parallel programming experts, it is essential to provide a programming model that shields its users from the complexities of developing parallel applications.
Our solution uses a familiar programming model, while allowing efficient execution on GPU-Clusters without requiring any additional effort.
