Suppose you have been programming computers for a year or so now, but the only thing you have programmed so far are text-based applications. You don't feel very happy because, although your programs can be quite complex, they don't look very impressive to your friends. What you are actually looking for is a toolkit that will help you to create graphical applications running in different windows, showing some flashy graphics and using the mouse for its control.
