David van Moolenbroek: Attack of the Lizardmen (grade: 10) An advanced first person shooter, including shooting of textured particles and interaction with the dynamic enviroment. A level editor is also available. The new all-time high-scoring project.
Konrad Iwanicki: Galaxy Wars (grade: 10) A game in which a robot must be guided back to its base through a hilly landscape. Contains, amongst others, impressive collision detection, falling snow particles and scene reflection.
Peter Boonstoppel: Luxo jr. revisited (grade: 10) An OpenGL remake of the famous short movie 'Luxo jr.' by Pixar. Very good animation.
Thomas Bleeker: The Zoo (grade: 10) A zoo you can walk through, inhabited by a dino, a bird and an aquarium. Includes walkable stairs, multiple animated models and lightmaps. The world was created in 3D studio MAX and converted to an homebrew file format.
Joanna Slowinska: Dino Bella in museum (grade: 10) Female dinosaur visiting a museum. Includes very nice lighting, automatically changing camera views, NURBS and lots of paintings by famous artists. Also the first dino ever to wear a hat.
Erik van Zijst: Roadkill (grade: 10) Two-player splitscreen action game in which you have to kill the dino by driving over it before your opponent does. Nice example of using multiple viewports.
Erik Bosman: Recursive City (grade: 9.6) A city with walking dinos that repeats itself indefinitely at the top of the center tower. Includes simple LOD to cull deeper levels of recursion.
