Overview papers
I added a few overview
papers on Evolutionary Computation to the downloadables. These
provide additional material to my course.
-
T. Bäck's overview gives a glossary of
terms, a detailed treatment of the EC dialetcs (GA, ES, EP, GP), and some
theory download postscript.
-
A.E. Eiben's introduction handles the simple
GA and ES as examples to illustrate the main aspects of EC and reviews
some EC application areas download
postscript.
Note 1: Since these papers are not yet published
their distribution is limited - only
for private use and not citeable.
Note 2: If and when my slides and the
papers differ, the slides are to be followed for the exam.
