of the Alan chatterbot and the HAL nursery: a project
which tries to simulate the child's mind. They do
so by creating several HAL's, chirdren with practically
no knowlegde about the world which can be shaped by
the inputs of user. Most HAL's are open to everyone.
Try talking to one of the HAL's by asking Alan (the
home chatterbot) , which itself is quite nice to talk
to as well. Lots of info on this interesting research
project is found at their site. Support them by visiting
the open lab, or participate in their well going forum.
