CoCoCo: Concepts to Control Configurations
CoCoCo is a research project of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) sponsored by Philips Healthcare (PH).
Project description
CoCoCo focusses on the Configuration Management challenges found in globally operating industry, to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Product Creation Process.
The research is mainly carried out on-site in close cooperation with industry.
Typical subjects that can be adressed are:
- configuration management models in a global operating company
- relations between CM models and capabilities of existing CM systems (i.e. processes and tools)
- benchmarking of CM
- technological impact of using global CM systems
- impact of global CM on Baselining and Release Management
