- Niff2ly. A package to convert
NIFF
to lilypond.
I use this in conjuction with Music Scanning software SharpEye, which generates NIFF.
Since Lilypond is the music typesetter of choice, a converter is needed.
Download niff2ly beta, current version 0.3 .

NIFF appears to be no longer supported, therefore I provide an archived
download: niff-1.02.tbz2.
List of Flute Parts in Bach Cantatas
I compiled a list of all
flute parts in Bach's
Cantata Oeuvre.
I omitted:
- Matthäus-Passion has 4 flutes
- Johannes-Passion has 2 flutes
- the Messe in h-moll has 2 flutes
- the Messe in A has 2 flutes.
Non-formatted lists of recorder parts and horn parts await my attention.
Sheet Music
I arranged and typeset a number of music pieces that is
available for download as sheet music. I made these
to play either with the Khan Tengri Quintet when it was a Sextet, with an
extra clarinet or bass clarinet, or with my viola partner, Roos.
Of course I do hope people will download them to play or investigate.
There are also some projects I undertook for clarinet friends, who needed
parts (semi-automatically) transposed from C clarinet to B flat
clarinet. The stuff will appear here when I have tidied it up enough for
publication. All of it has been typeset with this marvelous music engraver,
Lilypond.
Hopefully this page will grow steadily.
