GI Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam

Eighth Conference on
Detection of Intrusions and Malware & Vulnerability Assessment

DIMVA 2011

July 7-8th, 2011
Amsterdam, The Netherlands

First, we would like to inform you that in the week of the DIMVA conference, a large international lung cancer congress will be held in the RAI conference centre in Amsterdam. This is very close to the VU University, which means that the hotels in the area will be quickly fully booked or very expensive. Thus please book a hotel as soon as possible.

We have reserved a number of rooms in few hotels in Amsterdam. The reservation procedure is handled by an external company, Business Hotel Reservations BV. If you decide on one of these hotels, please fill in this form and send it to Business Hotel Reservations not later than on June 10, 2011. (The deadline for the reservation has been extended!) The document lists the possible hotels, fees, and cancellation policies.

Alternatively, you could consider Qbic Hotel Amsterdam WTC. This hotel is located within a walking distance from the VU University Amsterdam. It offers a special rate of € 85 per night, excluding breakfast, for the VU University Amsterdam visitors. However, it was not possible to reserve any rooms there. Depending on the availability, you can book a room by sending an email to or calling +31(0)43 321 1111.

The Springer proceedings are already available online.
